This is an example of things you can do with the Ctrl + keyboard shortcuts that are commonly used in other word processors:
Ctrl + u = This is an example of underlined text
Ctrl + b = This is an example of bolded text
Ctrl + i = This is a pretty italic text
After you finish using whatever formatting you were looking to use, you can either push the command keys again, or just start a new line. Example:
Our Whole Universe Was In A Hot, Dense State
